About AK Repay

AK Repay’s goal is to put your unwanted things in the hands of those in need. It is a pay-it-forward organization. We take your items, sort and organize them, and redistribute them through the most effective channels. This includes reduced-cost sales, nonprofit donations, and giving directly to those in need. Sales/profits go back into operating expenses and helping more people. For donators, we offer prescheduled donation pickups, and prearranged drop offs (under special circumstances.) For those in need, we offer an online registry, item listings, and prearranged meetings for exchange of goods. We keep our costs down by not having a storefront and by using online communication. We are devoted to helping our local community. We are based in Palmer, Alaska, and serve the surrounding communities to an approximately 50 mile radius.

To schedule a pickup, contact us via our website AKrepay.com and fill out the donation form. Pickups are generally scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays, as a rule of thumb. We’ll be in touch!

If you’re interested in purchasing any listed items, see the details in our listings on Craigslist and/or Facebook.

If you’d like to make a request for free items (such as a new parent seeking baby clothes they cannot otherwise afford), fill out the request form for pay-it-forward items on AKrepay.com. These items are offered first come first served to those who’ve registered for pay it forward items when we receive such items. There is no knowing when we will receive your needs, but be assured God is in control of everything. Your request will stay on the books for up to one year, or until fulfilled.

AK Repay reserves the right to make all decisions about the appropriate use of donations and who receives what items. It’s just necessary for efficiency. It is also necessary we ask for your patience and understanding in that we operate like a nonprofit donating our time and energy, but like a for-profit in that we have real expenses to pay as well. Your donations of all kinds are greatly appreciated, so if we can’t take them for you, we will make our best recommendations for what you could do with them. We reserve the right to only take what we can make good happen with. Some things are just too big, too worn out, too niche, just not our specialty, etc. See our list of “Items of Interest” that have been requested a lot or we can do a lot of good with - it might surprise you!
